Ah man. Sorry for the time-lapse guys! I'm alive I promise!

I've been neglecting dA for so long, so I apologize for that. I guess I've steadily lost interest in my art as a whole, and have spent the majority of this year working on writing projects instead and getting through work and school, leaving me with barely any free time. I probably won't be posting any art for a while, until I get interested in it again. I was thinking about posting some writing on here, but I don't feel super comfortable with that, so I think I'll just say I'm on an indefinite semi-hiatus. I'll definitely stick around so I can stay in contact with you lovely people, and drool over your artwork, but just don't expect much in the way of art from me for a while!

I missed all you guys, and I'm slowly climbing through literally hundreds of dA pieces to comment on and such, but I just wanted to post this and show I'm not yet dead!

Also. I know I have several beta-ing projects lined up for people. I also promise I haven't forgotten about them. (Mostly looking at you ~Apkinesis!) Don't give up on me! Most likely I'll be getting all of those worked out soon. I probably have it finished if you want it still, just let me get around to finding it. (2 computers later, lol.)

I saw Ponyo on Friday! It's adorable and amazing. I greatly recommend watching it!

School Stuff

Registered for classes last night. Got all 6 of them, but only 2 that I wanted in the first place. (Which makes sense, trust me!) The two I wanted are a class on Beowolf and one on Shakespeare. Otherwise, 3 ed classes and one other on Melville. Hopefully next semester won't be like this one.

Ethics is killing me. I hate philosophy so much. I wish my college didn't make me take 4 years of it.

Video Game Stuff

I bought ~yaniguchi Pokemon Platinum which has renewed my interest in Pearl, and have been playing that sporadically.

Is it just me, or is TC:UTK 2 waaay easier than the first one? I'm almost done and haven't failed nearly as many times as the first game.

I played the demo of Perfect Prosecutor : [link] It took me a while, because I tried to translate the Japanese, and I'm still learning. I was pretty proud of myself... until I realized that Croik had put up a translation on Court Records and I was pretty off. >.<;; Logic Mode is fun. This game should be interesting. I'm still ready for PW/GS 5 though. Capcom keeps doing all this other stuff instead!!

TAKARAZUKA: [link] They're doing another play I guess, with Ranju Tomu playing Phoenix again. (YAY!) I didn't get a chance to see it, and the DVD is tres cher. But the clips I found were pretty awesome.

Anime Stuff

Re-watched all of Princess Tutu. (Which was a bad idea, because I have so much new anime to watch. But I was stressed and that show is my favorite ever. ^_^) I don't know if any of you guys have seen it. The title makes it sound like some lame girly magical anime thing, but it's one of the best anime I've ever seen, and is probably one of my favorites. (Though I am biased, because I am a music nut and every episode contains an opera or symphony theme they focus on.)

About halfway through Soul Eater. This show is insane. Absolutely insane. Just watch the first couple episodes and you'll see how insane it is. (I absolutely adore some of the characters. Death the Kid and Maka especially.) It reminds me of Bobobo plus Bleach plus.. something else.

Finally finished Tales of the Abyss. Love the game, love the anime. The anime for Abyss was so much better than the OVA for Symphonia, though I feel Symphonia is the better game. :[ They followed the game very closely for the most part, which was excellent. The animation was awesome as well.

I also watched both dubbed seasons of Ouran High School Host Club. I wasn't going to at first because I loved the original so much, but the dub was alright. It made me look at the show differently, and the twins and Kyouya's English voices were fantastic. The others weren't bad, but it wasn't as great as the first. Obviously. Though I must say, Funimation doesn't do a half bad job at dubbing anime.

Book Stuff
FINALLY finished Brisingr after an entire year of not reading it. It was surprisingly good. Twice as good as the first two. Now I have to get the next one as well, whenever it comes out. *sigh*

Now what to read?

TV Stuff

The Mentalist has been picking up again! Boy do I love this show. If you people like crime dramas that are humorous yet action-packed, that aren't the usual fare, and feature a great cast of characters, definitely keep an eye on this show. Patrick Jane rivals House in uniqueness.

Speaking of House.... KUTNER!!!!!!! D: ... I almost cried after that episode on Tuesday. I won't try to spoil it if you follow House and haven't seen it but DANG. I'm still mad at the writers for that one.

Art Stuff

I have so much stuff to scan in and color but I am so lazy. I kind of feel like doing a new 10 sketch request thing soon, but I'm debating it. I'm so behind on everything nowadays.

I've been writing a lot, so that's the main reason for my lack of art stuffsies.

So... Second week of school for me, and I'm already sick of it! (lol) I think almost everyone's back in school now, right? My schedule looks slightly rough. I'm doing eighteen credits worth of classes, and will most likely be overloading with them from every semester on... ;___;

So I realize I haven't updated since like December, so I AM alive! I've actually been drawing alot, but I'm not really happy with anything enough to put it up. Mostly been my original Irethea characters and some others. Maybe I'll get around to uploading stuff sometime this week.

On the video game front- I got a ton of new ones for Christmas. New Castlevania, Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2, FFTA2, Harvest Moon: Rune Factory 2, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Chrono Trigger, and Age of Empires. PLUS I figured out how to get wireless on the wii so I will update with friends codes for AC and SSBB soon! Anyone else play those games?

Anyhoo. I've got class in like 10 minutes so I should probably go. Happy (belated) Inauguration Day and let's make 2009 an awesome year guys!
